Fishing
Fishing is a style of hunting for fish by hooking, trapping, or even gathering.
The term fishing can be used as an act to pursue such various types of
shellfish, squid, octopus, turtles, frogs, and some edible marine invertebrates.
Fishing is a worldwide practice with a huge variety of techniques and traditions.
Different styles of fishing are harvesting fish, and modern fishing is
both a recreational and professional sport.
Recreational fishing
Recreational fishing has conventions, rules, licensing restrictions and laws
that limit the way in which fish may be caught. The most common form of recreational
fishing is done with a rod, reel, line, hooks and any one of a wide range of
baits. Most types of fishing tackle include weights, floats, and swivels, and
usually lures are frequently used in place of bait. Commercial
fishing
Commercial fishing brings in large quanities of food
for countries all around the globe. A lot of times fisherman
have to under-go some fierce weather conditions.
Commercial fishermen go after fish species from tuna, cod and salmon to shrimp,
krill, lobster, clams, squid and crab, etc.. Commercial fishing methods have
become very efficient using large nets. Commercial fishing gears today are
surrounding nets, seine nets, trawls, dredges, hooks and lines, lift nets,
gill nets, entangling nets and traps. How To Fish
Step One- Buy
a fishing Pole
Step Two- Then
set yourself up with some hooks and choose what your
going to use for bait.
Step Three- Find
a location
Step Four- Place
worm or small chunk of bait onto the your desired hook
Step Five- Cast
your line
Once you've done these five steps just be patient
and wait for a bite. If your sitting there for about
ten minutes or so feel free to reel that lure back
in and cast off to another area.
If you happen to feel a tug on your line, pull your pole up and back towards
you. This technique will help snag the fish. If the tug goes away he's gone
but don't get your hopes down he'll be back. Although if you do get a good
snag when reeling in, remember when I asked you to pull up towards you? Well
I want you to do that again an when you come down reel with it. You want the
line tight at all times when reeling in a fish. Keep on doing this technique
and it will help you bring a potentially good catch in.
Once you have caught a fish and its next to you grab the line, if you can,
an pull the fish aboard(boat or shore). Once the fish is there, then grab the
fish and take the hook out. Once your there and the hook is out, check your
line for damage and re-bait your hook. And then feel free to set your cast
again and get ready for another fish. Tips
Make sure not to completely cover
your hook or hooks with bait. Worms should be put on
a slightly bigger hook and fasten the worms by taking
some skin on the hook and repeat that a few times.
For beginners, using a bobber that you can see from the bank makes catching
fish much easier. When the bobber goes under you got the hit, so start reeling.
Another way to feel a
hit is easily keeping a finger on the line. A bobber
may have the appearance of receiving a strike, but it
may just be the water that is causing it to go up and
down, remember that the bobber follows the movements
of the fish. If it quietly swims away against the current
it is a strike. Things
